Good appointment to me.

Thoughts?

Honestly, not sure. I have a feeling that its not his type of club, which sounds silly I know.

Its a risky appointment, but with the style of play he advocates, it could be quite positive.

Wondering now if young Dan Burn who Fulham have recently bought from us will get a look in though.

great move for them both imo. jol will feel he still has something to prove in the prem and fulham have shown they can play nice football and grind out the results too so should suit him.

I quite rate Jol actually, he seems a good solid manager and I think Fulham should make quite steady progress under him

Yeah good for Fulham, but they've qualified two years in a row for Europa league, can't really see them progressing any more up the ladder really.

7th at best for them really, without heavy investment.

Jol is just great.. pleased to see him back. Kind of feel sorry for Fulham though, they are in danger of just becoming some kind of stepping stone club for managers to have a spell at before moving up to a bigger job.

Fulham could do similar to Bolton a few years back or Everton now. Basically they can overachieve based on the team on paper and funds behind it. Unfortunately there are only so many changes of management that a team can go through before they start to come apart at the seams.

I think Moyes consistently overachieves, if they could get rid of the bad bad season starts they seem to endure then Moyes would be getting manager of the season every year!

Moyes will have to consider moving soon as I can see that if he fails to overachieve one year, then he may well get the sack, being a victim of his own success.
