Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB PCI-E2.0 Quickcode: #33273
In the specification it says that the card comes with 2gb of gddr5/ sdram so does this mean that the card would not be able to run with ddr3 or other types of ram? Also does the motherboard have to be able to run gddr5 type ram to be able to run this card? Thx in advance Adam

GDDR5 is for the graphics card use only, it comes soldered to the card ;)

the type of graphics ram has no effect on the motherboard the card is plugged into
