Having abit of an issue and I haven't got a clue whats caused it. I think it'll be an easy fix its just I don't know how. Basically in IE9 some pictures are showing and others aren't, for instance I can see most peoples sig pics but some peoples are just a box with an x in the corner.
Also on alot of sites, I'll use the EA store for example its just showing boxes with a x in the corner, heres a pic:

What do I need to check/uncheck or download in order to sort this out. I have all the adobes, java's etc and it was fine up until this morning so god knows whats causing it.
If anyone can help cheers.:)

Yes mate, I've got flash, java, adobe reader x, shockwave etc. Ireinstalled them all earlier to see if that would help but no joy.

LOL yeah, you had my hopes up then.
I'm gonna have a look at the same pages with firefox and chrome though see if they have the same issue. If not then at least I know its a IE9 issue and not a flash issue.
I've known a few people to have some rando
Problems with IE9...normal advice ...roll back to IE8 or drop MS

Thanks for the input, been thinking of just reinstalling everything.
I still have a sandy bridge B2 board so when I get a refund and change boards it would be a good time to do a full reinstall of windows 7.
I have reinstalled all the flash players and others suspects and to no avail. I have also looked on firefox and chrome and they are the same so that rules out IE9.
I've reset the router too and that didn't work. Basically I'm out of ideas.
My last thing to try is reinstall kaspersky as I have had some issues with that recently (it keeps freezing during virus scans and not letting me stop the scan so I have to reset, its always at different points though).
Aside from a long and laborious reinstall of win 7 I don't know what, thats why I thought someone on here would have the answer.:)

Won't safe mode just disable all the add ons so I wouldn't see the pics anyway or do you mean to do something else?

well it may disable AV so may be worth a try if that is what you suspect?

yeah thanks I might try that or what I might do which you have just gave me the idea to do is because I'm going to reinstall kaspersky anyway I could uninstal kaspersky, restart and then see if the problems still there without it installed. Could work, I'll try yours first though.
Just a strange issue as it just popped up from nowhere lol.

Yep!:thumb:
Which gives you no idea how to sort it, at least if you knew what you'd done to cause it you can fix it.
Sorry to assume the fool, but have you been through this?

and this is supposed to be Microsoft's latest and greatest...
Tbh I think they should just give up making browsers and start shipping Windows with Chrome or Firefox.
I get lots of layout inconsistencies in IE9 when writing CSS and most times the same site looks fine in IE8. But then IE7 is usually different too so I have to spend ages getting my site working in THREE versions of IE just coz Microsoft fail so hard.
They are one of the biggest software/technology companies in the world, what are they playing at??
TBH, I'm not 100% sure what you are on. All my designs are perfect in IE9, and IE8. IE 7 & 6 were bad, but they are dying now, which is good. I think after vista being such a massive fail, Microsoft have really stepped up their game!
Theres only been a few instances where its happened but the fact is that webkit browsers and firefox always work straight away and ie9 sometimes fails, not good enough.
