I wans to buy 62 bit Windows Vista

because my 32 bit Windows doesn't support 4GB of RAM which I have ..... can you advise me which OS is better and what's the difference?

Home premium has more features and better value for money, plus aero is far nicer.

Basic is the nasty stripped down version. You really do not want it. Get premium and be happy :)

get a mac. Vista is just horrible IMO. If I wasn't for the lack of program support then I would get rid of my pc!

Vista Home Premium 32bit With sp1 will show your 4gb ram but wont utilise it all.
64bit will and has better hardware & Software support than xp pro 64bit.

Regards performance wise having used both 64bit & 32bit vista with 4gb ram I must admit there's no peformance difference IMHO.

swings and roundabouts with benching on v 64, soe love it and score higher some dont and ....well dont.

get vista 64, its the future.
