Hi all,
I recently purchased a 9800GTX from Aria (recently meaning yesterday)
I received it today but the PSU to PCI E power cable (the 6pin thing) is about 1 cm to short to reach the card.

Are there any cables which could extend it? I've found one but unfortunatly its from an American site and will cost a bomb to import.

Any help would be great, thanks!

What psu do you own? If it is of generic brand, get a new one before you plug that badboy in, as im assuming you will later get power problems with a substandard one.

It's a corsair 650W PSU, so its not exactly a crappy branded one. :/

I've found the type of cable I need, but I need it from a UK retailer.

The problem is I only actually have 1 spare molex port thing.

On the side of the GPU there is 2 6 pin slots, do both of them have to be filled or will just one be fine?

The GPU wouldve come with a molex to PCI-E adaptor, why not use that ?

Like I said, there is only one free molex slot within the computer. :/

easiest way might be to get an icebox and take out a hd and use its molex, put the hdd in the enclosure and it is self powered.

I've filled one of the 6 pin to molex adapters, theres still 1 slot free on the graphics card.
when I turn on the computer I'm still getting a low power warning from the graphics card so I'm guessing both have to be filled.
