LOL!

i'm tiredddddddddddddd, went on x2 10-12 mile walks on sat/sunday with the good lady. Weather was hot both days, best days all summer I would say :O8)

Legs are ruined. Place called Wetton in the White Peaks. One of the only copper mining towns in the north, crossed Wetton Hill, Ecton Hill, Ecton Summit down through the Manifold valley and finished with the mighty Thors Cave which is HUGE

Speaking of microwaves, we had a real fire evactuation last week because someone put rice in the microwave for 200 minutes instead of 2!

Now we might have all our microwaves taken away on health and safety grounds. It will be hot water and scissors after that!

I had a delicious ham sandwich and a delicious chicken sandwich today. Made em myself, yum.

If someone is dumb enough to put something in a microwave for 200 minutes instead of 2, I hate to think what they'll do with hot water and scissors..

In her defence the microwave controls were akin to the space shuttle control panel.
She was stupid for leaving it unattended, and even more stupid for owning up!

So confiscate her microwave, scissors, and hot water, let the rest of us have hot tea, cut paper, and cooked food!

Last christmas my brother put a couple of mince pies in the micro for 3 mins..Not 30 seconds. The brandy caught alight and burnt the inside of the microwave:chairfall:

Today has been highly productive. I read all the usual news websites, browsed the bay for a while to look for deals. I did a couple of photocopies for someone and forwarded a few amusing emails to friends and coworkers.

I would say that lunch was the highlight, although this double chocolate muffin I'm eating is pretty darn tasty.

Almost time to go home where I will do all these things for free, sans photocopying!

Has anyone ever tried putting cutting a grape in half, but not all the way through - just so it'll lay open, with the 2 halves connected pretty much just by the skin.. Then turn the microwave onto full power and switch on.. I found red grapes work best for producing fireballs.. :D
