Not sure you'd fit 2 x dual slot gfx cards in there - looks to only have room for a single slotter at the "top" ?

hybrid crossfire is when it switches between integrated and discrete graphics to save power ;)

only one card, the other (stock) gpu is onboard, unless I've missed something (which is very likely and possible)

I have the board and afaik the Hybrid Crossfire thing only benefits lower end cards? ie once you go over the spec of the IGP (HD4250 I think) then it's pointless... at least that's how I interpreted it. I may be very wrong.

Pity about the PSU. £25 for a 620w unit!! Now that's really going to be a quality unit!! That's not the place to save money.

With the load it will get at that default spec, that's all it needs in my opinion. I've many a generic PSU five+ years old still powering machines. It's under a system warranty, so it's in the interest of Aria to put in a unit that will cope. Only they have the returns figures on the stock they sell, so doubt it would be one with high returns :)

Wow, amazing price. I think you need to mention more that it comes with an LCD too (yes I know it says it in the title).

I think you are right. I have a different board with 785 chipset with onboard HD 4200, can only (or recommended by amd) to hybrid with something like 3300 or similar. Anything better than that might as well go all the way with discrete. Guess it works the same way.

Just saw that you put a blu-ray reader in there and a separate Wifi card.
Thats stuff you don't usually get as standard.

Its a tricky market though. You are mostly a "specialist" store, trying to supply the "common man".
Its a tons better system than a PC world one, but most people wouldn't even know that Aria PC are an option for a fully built system.

We need to educate them

That's not a ready built to go system. I think this is aimed more at the people who just want to plug in and be done. You also have not included windows 7..

Windows 7 isn't included in the OP is it? A mouse and keyboard could be picked up anywhere guys? Just add on £15 or whatever? Im saying if you can build your own system, one like this might server as a better gaming machine..

Although its true, if you don't want to build your own, getting someone to build it for you might cost you aswell..

Gotta admit it's a great PC for the price... but I'd rather pay £30-£40 more and get it with a branded PSU.

Is it 80 Plus Certified, or just >80% efficient? How tight is the voltage regulation, and what about transients, cross-loading and noise/ripple suppression? Solid Japanese caps? 85'C or 105'C? Will it supply a continuous 620W at 40'C-50'C?

I'm sure it's not as bad as some nameless cheap-as-chips units (otherwise Aria would be foolish to put it in a PC with their name and warranty), and it should run the stock-speed non-GPU system without a problem. But add a GPU and/or overclock and I'm guessing it could be the weakest link, and "BANG! for Buck" could be sadly appropriate. (And if it's not meant to be upgraded/modified, why does it have a 620W PSU to run a 125W CPU and little else?)

Sorry to be hyper-critical, but I am still in shock after losing my work PC for 3+ weeks due to a cheapo PSU dying and killing my mobo. A few more rants and I should return to normality.
