Hello,

I purchased the above monitor a couple weeks ago but have not really used it very much in that time.

So far, I'm dissappointed (so far, it's the worst LCD I've experienced!). The light bleed is quite severe and the image is not very sharp or stable - everything appears quite blurry, and is bitty when you are not looking duirectly at it. The most troubling issue I have is that the colour range/depth appears to be non-existent. I have played with the colour, contrast, brightness until my fingers were sore but nothing works. Blacks are poor and light greys dissappear. Tried different graphics cards and different vga cables to no effect.

Does anyone else have this monitor, and if so, can they suggest settings that work for them?

Many Thanks

this monitor is working much better now :)

Although the viewing angle remains tight in the vertical axis, messing about with the settings has yielded pretty good results (although greens are still very hot)

I got so fed up with light bleed and backlight inconsistency across the screen, that I grabbed either of the monitor and twisted it. To my surprise, this has made a huge difference. Not recommended but effective in my case.

The vertical angle viewing has always been poor, efforts on the horizontal were made during the development, verticle still needs addressing.

indeed, I can tell when I start to slouch in my chair because everything starts to blur and change colour

According to this BBC article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6187080.stm), the best position for your back is in a slouch.

I actually agree with you on that :P

I always slouch, apart from when playing fps games
