Lots of negativity and when it finally arrives, yes its for charity, alot of people donate anyway, but we can't buy anything.
Page keeps crashing or when it does load is sold out.
All they done is create alot of negative attention really.

Are people just 'adding to basket' as soon as they see it regardless? What happens if they then dont want it?
The new items aren't being added to the bottom of the list. Makes it difficult to tell what's new. :(

Everyone's refreshing the page straight away, majorly slow. Pure luck if you grab something.
I'm assuming your stock of these great deals isn't large.

Off out to work, at least i managed to get a nice SSD for £60 elsewhere or it would've totally ruined my day.
Of the 7 items on show so far only saw 1 of the 8GB RAM in stock. Reminds me of the PR disaster that was the Black Friday sales last year...
Good for money to go to charity though.

I think it would have been cool to just pop the items into the main site and whomever is lucky enough to come across it gets it rather than all on one page and its more a question of luck and having the best connection to the server.
Nice deals though I can't deny but with so many people now samming the site for deals You'd be remiss if you didn't offer other great if not AS great deals just to get business going.

Where are the deals, as ive been on that thread but can't find them? Luckily I bagged one from overclockers but where is this pre-order on the soon to be released cpu - thats what I came here for
I'm amazed so much spite is coming from such established forum members. Yes, they said theres excellent deals, but no-one forced you to stay up and watch out for them AND it's for charity. Grow up.
Off out now, shame as hoped to get something decent but can see from the way they have sold out immediately that it's down to luck.
Congrats to any who have managed to get anything and it's for a good cause anyway.
EDIT: Loads just been added, a few actually showed 1 in stock, but as soon as I clicked add to basket they were gone anyway. :(

Huzzah! Saw one thing in stock, the Corsair 600T case. Seeing how a case (650D) and CPU (i5 2500K) are the only things I have towards my new Sandy Bridge build, its what I expected really, to be able to buy soemthing I have already. :(
hmm stuff seems to be getting added randomly within the page too rather than all at the bottom!! I missed the ssd :(

I have an idea: save the rest of the stock you've put aside for this event and have an AUCTION!
That way, you'll make more money for charity; it'll be fairer; people can't rage any more; and the items will probably still be cheaper than anywhere else! It just makes more sense. And is less crushing than watching all of these sensational deals vanish before our very eyes.

I only wanted the PSU, so not too bothered about missing out, I do think instead of perhaps matching the amount that was sold, they could have just doubled the stock as it wa obvious it would all sell out.

That 115GB SSD for £110 looks like it would have been a bargain.

Add to that the link/server 'fail' in the first place & you get a public outcry for 'over hyping'.
