I was a bit luckier than you, I had an old man do the same to me, I then followed him into the car park he nearly had me off getting to, Now my bike has 2 car headlight bulbs in the headlamp that is always on, he said it was my fault for having a blue motorbike and I am wearing black... So I asked him that if a pedestrian was crossing the black part of a Zebra crossing wearing a black suit it would be their fault if he run them over! he had no reply...

LOL i see your point. The woman was very apologetic but it was just annoying.

anyway what you think of this as a learner legal bike. I've not used a geared bike before and need to redo my CBT anyway as it expired last month.

you would be better off with an old non trendy Honda CG125

tystar

yeah ok.

prefer something to suit my build and the hondas dont ;)
i want a full size cruiser when i get my full licence so thought this would be a good starter

I understand, but my logic is this:-

the Cg125 is the 125 equivalent of a fiesta, cheap to insure, cheap to run and been around forever and a day, (cheap spares)

They are easier to ride than a cruiser especially on the obsticle courses.

In my day no body bought them coz they were 4 stroke, we all had 2 stroke bikes, I had an RXS100 Yamaha when I took my test in 19....84 bikes then were restriced to 12bhp Ithink it's up to a whole 14 now but i could be wrong.

Yeah to do your cbt you need something small and manouverable (sp?). I doubt that will be tbh.

Never been a fan of feet first bikes myself.

was gonna use the tes centres bike for the CBT as I say i've rode scooters for years so riding's not my issue its becuase i not rode a geared bike before so was gonna use there's so i get used to the gears on the day.

When I took my BMF course, (a volantary CBT in those days) there were a coupe of guys had Fs1es that used to run them on petrol/white spirit mix.

apparently they were very quick but cost a few ££s in replacement Barrels and psitons
