Get a Samsung F1 over the Seagate, there is a fairly large performance gain in having the F1

i thought having a bigger cache was better? The 500Gb Samsung F1 has a 16mb cache, what makes it faster, is it some special design?

The F1 for some reason is incredibly fast, i forget the reason, its mainly due to perpendicular writing technology, and high density.

Nope, just faster! :P

And id wait and get the Pro iP45

And the case is niiiiice, although not as nice as <<<<< erhum

Samsung uses 334Gb per platter vs Seagates 250Gb.

I have a 7200.10 500Gb and a pair of 7200.11 500Gb (8Mb Cache) drives, they are quick drives, but trail to the Samsung... Just trying to find the review I read...

found it!

well my budget has already gone over the max lol, i'm ok with that because the HD4870 is meant to be noticeably better then the 8800GTS but that means no £100+ case lol!

One thing though, since i really would like this all ordered by friday, could i replace the Asus P5Q Pro iP45 with the Asus P5Q-E iP45? It's £10 more but is it any better, it's in stock lol.

OMG THE ASUS p5Q PRO JUST CAME IN STOCK!!! YEAH!!!

The 4870 is a very good card (pretty much equal to the 260 in many games). Very much worth the money.
