Already got 16 pipelines?

got my card in my computer yesterday

i was gona start flashing the bios and overclocking from 12 pieplines to 16 pipelines

when i notice i already have 16? how is this possible? and are they running to their full potential?

the card is a sapphire radeon x800 gto 256mb

I believe some do ship with the 16 pipelines already unlocked though i thought they were called gto16 or something like that? Also a fair proportion of the GTO2's like 99% or something daft are unlockable to 16 pipes, basically turning them into x850's.

Looks like you got a preunlocked one matey so i wouldn't worry about it :wink:

Indeedy overclock it as far as you can and enjoy matey, you practically got yourself an x850 8)

only overclocked core by 11mhz and memory 43mhz
