Wayneo is right though :D

Utd will win 2-1 I think. Chelsea still not really playing that well at the moment but both teams will be really up for it.

As much as I'd like Chelsea to win, purely for the excitement of the title race, I think it'll be a draw.

United don't need to win, and they're good at sitting back. And considering they're at home, I see them still offering a threat.

1-1. Chelsea to lead.

Should be a good match tomorrow Chelsea for the win then both clubs into meltdown with two losses to gift Arsenal the title :)

Not gonna happen happen lol. Utd to win 2-0 one a penalty. Luiz to be sent off to make up for cheating last time.....

Nah Utd to win 2-0

I would be shocked if Man U lost, particularly as they rested most of their top players midweek. I'm going for a 3-1 win to Man U.

Although I would love to see Chelsea beat them to make it interesting for the final two games.

UrKo
07-05-11, 17:43
As long as its a good fair game should be great match for the neutrals, if it turns into an El Classico with players diving around and rolling like they been shot by a sniper will be a big disappointment.

sibeer
07-05-11, 19:08
Surely it would be a better game for the neutrals if the snipers really got involved

UrKo

Be good if we have a fourth decent side in Europe next year.

As a Millwall supporter I have to go Man Utd win here. That is of course assuming the ref actually has a fair game for a change. Hopefully both Drogba & Nani get sent off for diving though, it's the only way I can see them possibly stopping. Torres (if he plays) to again rip Vidic a new one but fail to hit the target.

Man Utd 2 - 1 Chelsea
Rooney, Valencia & Anelka to score.

Probably none of that will happen though.

UrKo
08-05-11, 08:46
Agree with a fair ref. Hopefully Chelsea won't get handed the game again this season. But we have Howard Webb UK's best referee so he should be impartial :)

El Wayneo

Isnt howard webb a man u fan anyway?

Sure ive seen pics of him in a united shirt somewhere.

08-05-11, 16:54
Are we watching Barca vs Chelsea here?! OH I forgot, English teams dont dive and get in the refs face

Utd deserve to be in front though, Chelsea are awful at the back today.

UrKo
08-05-11, 16:55
Lol we are playing much much better than against Arsenal last week. Can't see Chelsea finishing with 11 men.... Be a shame as don't want Chelsea fans having an excuse....

No one got in the refs face a la Barca m8 all they did was point out Ivanovic had run off knowing he had been booked previously and he committed a professional foul....

ZodiarK
08-05-11, 16:56
im sure they already have their excuses planned as we will soon see

UrKo
08-05-11, 16:57
Lol i'm seeing a lot of Howard "Man Utd" Webb excuses looming lol

Rooney been in his face after pretty much every foul :D

It wasnt a dig at just Utd though. English press make out that English players only do it because they are 'passionate' yet when foreign teams do it they are cheats.

Ivanovic was lucky though. Dont think Chelsea fans can have any excuse, they have been second best throughout even with 11 men.

ZodiarK
08-05-11, 17:23
they were lucky to get away with hand ball no doubt give the Chelsea lovers an excuse though

3 point lead 2 games left, it's not over yet! Blackpool and Blackburn won't roll over, well with Big Sam gone from the latter they should give it a go a least this time around!

Having said that was good result for you yesterday and at least Chelsea made a game of it in the second half and let's not get started on decisions or I'll be forced to bring out the black kettle cards!

El Wayneo
09-05-11, 10:13
6 point lead mate.

Great performance, was at them right from the start. What a find Hernandez was, should have had a hat trick today but his movement and pace are fantastic. Be interesting to see how he does next year when I suspect he will be a starter

6 point lead mate.

Ack of course, it's early in my defense and ahh well it's was theres (Manu)to throw away anyway and Chelsea failed to take there chance again!...

Hope Barca turn up in the Chumps final or we have to hear there insipid fans giving it the big I am's again. We'll be there when then bubble bursts Fergie can't live forever! :p

El Wayneo
09-05-11, 10:20
I'm not sure Chelsea failed to take anything really, Man U played better and i think Chelsea have done well to claw back the points after a shocking mid season display.

Anyway, who's looking forward to Wigan Vs West Ham next sunday, if you lose you're going down down down.

Krusty
09-05-11, 10:29
I'm mainly reffering that and the penalty miss from Terry a couple of seasons ago I'm still trying to get over that one, Greasy surface wtf was Giggs running his barnet over it!

Wigan vs Wham, well after that story the other the day about not one member of the Wham board going to the Blackburn game because they expected to get nothing and rather watch it on TV, do they deserve to stay up with people like that in charge?

But no I'd still rather have Wigan go down, it's a rugby town with poor football support and I don't like Whelan and the fact they bend over for United every furking season, want to boost you goal difference? here you go!..I'm not bitter...honestly!

I've finally come down. Yesterday was an absolutely dominant display by us. Ruthless, efficient (relatively) and best of all classy.

I read something the other day about how the EPL is the best league in the world, a mid-ground between the best matches and the best football - i think this match was the reference for that notion.

Great performance by the scum, but reference level match quality? Surely Chelsea would have needed to be more involved for that claim?

Better than the joke fest El Classicos this year, however it was the importance of the match that made this a season highlight rather than the quality. Last season the Liverpool 4 - 4 Arsenal and Man U 4 - 3 Man City or this seasons Newcastle 4 - 4 Arsenal are the sort of games that set the standard.

After yesterdays first half Utd would beat anyone. We took our foot off second half as the job was done. If we do that against Barca we could come unstuck.

ThunderFlash
09-05-11, 13:50
The job wasn't done at half time, Chelsea came back into it a bit more second half.
In the big games this season United seem to have performed better in the first half compared to the second. All the Chelsea matches, Liverpool and City cup games and a few others.

The Da Silva twins keep picking up little injuries, seems they can hardly finish 90 mins.

Well I got the score right and there should have been a red card too (if only Webb had the balls to give it though ). Still, i'm thankful my team won;t suffer humiliation against the likes of Man Utd & Chelski next season.

Was a cracking game, though after United scored the 2nd goal I was almost tempted to turn it off and watch something less like a bully pulling your pants down in the playground...

UrKo
10-05-11, 08:46
Just out of interest who should have had a Red Card??

Just out of interest who should have had a Red Card??

Ivanovic ? Was on a yellow when he fouled Rooney again.

He was one of the chelsea players to escape in the game at Stamford bridge earlier in the season and Sideshow Bob as well ! who did play well in the first half nice assist for the Hernandez goal :thumb:

UrKo
10-05-11, 08:58
Ahhh thought he was going to say someone else then. Ivanovic should have gone but hey the correct result was there for all to see. Utd dominated the first half and sat back in the second...
