Would love to go to the final this year but sadly will be watching from home as on baby sitting that night lol. Can honestly see Sir Alex getting one over on Pep. Utd to win 2-0

big pitch will suit barcas style more imo.

on the upside it being in london will make it much easier for the manu fans as they wont have to travel as far :P

Man Utd to play 4-5-1, pack the midfield & make it boring. They'll have less goal threat than Rome, especially as Rooney will be the lone forward & always coming deep.

I think if they play like they did against Schalke last night then they could nick it.

If they play like they did against Arsenal at the weekend then they'll get spanked.

Either way they are the underdog so have nothing to lose really as everyone expects Barcelona to win.

I think Man U will win it, 4 - 3.

Last night's Utd team featured 2 pacey wingers, and was more of a 4-3-3 than a flat 4-5-1.

Utd's front 3 were practically 3-on-3 & Neuer. It was just simple counter-attacking.

That won't happen with Barcelona. Although Dani Alves will be much further forward than Uchida, Pique; Puyol; and Abidal will sit, with Busquets just in front of them. That's more than enough cover, especially when you consider that Xavi plays quite deep too.

the question is will fergie go for it against barca or will he try and contain them and nick a goal?

if he goes for it and plays a 433 you do have a chance but only if you play pace upfront and go long, utd will get out classed in the middle if they try to out play them.

if he tries to hold them by packing the middle they will pick you to peices.

He tried 4-3-3 in Rome and it didn't work. He even admitted he got his tactics wrong.

We missed Fletcher in that final. This year will be different. Shut down Messi and you shut down Barcelona. Yes they have some decent play(actors)ers elsewhere but they tend to try to do everything through Messi. Won't be easy but we can do it.

Easier said than done.

You pay too much attention to Messi, your defence gets stretched by his movement. David Villa can/will sit on the left touchline all game as an outlet. You move over to close the gap, Messi gets in the channel.

That is true but it is in England rather than europe so travel wont be as expensive and as someone already pointed out, wont have far to travel :p

Tickets aren't that cheap anymore. They were only available at those prices when the neutral section went on sale. As far as I'm aware, they're all sold out, so now you have to pay extortionate fees for those tickets.

If you're a Utd season ticket holder, I don't know the story there.

I know Barcelona only sell tickets to club members.

While it was a bit tongue in cheek it was also a real point, its not like you need to fly to Turkey for it this year which will make it more accessible for some people.

Sadly though it would probably be cheaper to go to Turkey, than travel to London for a stay over...

He tried 4-3-3 in Rome and it didn't work. He even admitted he got his tactics wrong.

I think he may start Rooney very deep, midfield practically, then start hernandez for the pace, as I would fancy him in a face against Puyol and Pique.

I don't envy him having to pick a side for this, I've done it myself about a 100 times now and it is different each time I do it. Not sure if I would start with a packed midfield then if Utd can hold out bring Hernandez on about 70 mins to have a run. I've no idea really.

SAF has to play 3 central midfielders otherwise the game's half lost. If you don't, you're leaving Busquets open who just recycles possession. He doesn't have the brain of Xavi, but he plays the simple passing game so well.

Hopefully SAF isn't a member of the Aria forums, so doesn't read that, and Barcelona win. If he plays 4-4-2, I can see it being 2-0 or 2-1 Barça. If he plays 4-5-1, it's extra-time.

Why have the final on a Saturday? Ruins it for me. Its always been a Wednesday and should stay the same I reckon.

Actually think Utd are going to beat Barca. After watching the last few games of La Liga, Barca look knackered. They dont have a big squad like Utd do and look to be paying for it now.

I not really sure m8. Would have preferred it as usual on a wed night, but the good news is got the weekend off and the Monday so big big celebration me thinks lol....
