Not really appropriate I don't think. Since it's a commercial decision, not a factual one. Aria don't have an official recommended hosting company, so I doubt we'll be making a sticky recommending one over another. Obviously people are free to discuss it.

maybe a list of hosts in a sticky recommended by forums users not aria?
the thread appears every week :(
if i didnt have this @catrain it would make me :cry
You people are too thin-skinned! Years on the internet have given me inbuilt junk-ignoring mental spamfilters. If you're not interested, just click 'next' surely? Does seeing someone ask a question which has been asked a few times before really make the red mist descend?
@catrain
well I'm awaiting a court summons off 1&1, so anyone but them... had a letter of a solicitor for them the other week saying if I don't pay £0.00 ill be taken to court.

Let them take you to court... Should be a highly entertaining case... You don't owe them anything, but they want to waste the court's time? All expenses will have to be met by the numpties who started the proceedings, with any luck they might even get fined for being so du- er I mean wasting the court's time. Make sure you take popcorn :knock:

I too dis-recommend 1&1. I had to pay for a years hosting even though I couldn't use it.
Basically the e-mail used for the account was no longer valid because Lycos went. Despite numerous attempt at interacting with their support team, I never got access back that hosting package.
More than a year down the line, I too got a solicitors letter. They renewed it without permission (it definitely wasn't in the T&C) and despite my attempts, I had to pay up in the end.

fair point :)
just a bit repetitive that's all! :picard:
Go for tsohost...
+1
Great service
Go for tsohost...
also +1 for Tsohost. honestly I have never seen any company come close to their customer service. massive kudos to those guys.
I used the say that about another shared hosting firm, then due to popularity it was obvious they were getting, they were brought up and swallowed into a large firm. I cancelled my account shortly afterwards.
Don't use streamline.net anyone,
overpriced and their customer service is shocking.
They're rude & won't listen to you.
www.evohosting.co.uk perfect and is litespeed, very fast.. :)
