here is system (not my choice)

xilence 480w gaming psu (guy from customer services said this would be fine)
Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H, GeForce 7100, Socket 775, MCP-630i
4gb pc2 6400 (800mhz)
400GB hard drive
dvd writer
Geforce 8400 GS graphics

here is the story
I build this PC, built a lot in the past (including the one Im using now) tried installing vista on it, half way through the screen goes off and says there is no input device, try again, it installs, 5 mins of playing with it same thing happens, take the graphics card out and try running onboard graphics, nothing, reset cmos, check power leads, try new graphics card read instructions, even take it all apart and rebuild it to make sure everything has been done right.......still, nothing.

the power supply got warm, im just wondering, could the power supply have blown the motherboard, would it have done any more damage? is the power supply good enough? is there a chance the motherboard was the faulty bit in the first place? if it was the power supply that blew the mobo, would aria be prepared to replace them both as I brought them both from here? please help have I missed anything?

also, as I have alreay installed that copy of windows, would I have to buy a new one if I have to replace the motherboard?

best bet is to contact customer services http://www.aria.co.uk/contact.asp and talk to them directly :)

Was the PSU turned off or disconnected when you took out the graphics card?
