Noooooooooooooooo........ Hopefully it'll be a god game and not a boring sit back affair.

Come on Utd almost over the line.

Cant see Arsenal sitting back, they dont know how to play that way. If they do Utd will walk past them.

Good day of footie today. Liverpool - Newcastle on ESPN now then this :)

Apparently Fabregas has been injured during training and will miss the match.

UrKo
01-05-11, 14:17
Arsenal have started brightly. Still waiting for Utd to turn up lol ...

GJF47
01-05-11, 14:25
How was that not a free kick against Vidic?!

Arsenal have started well but you get the feeling that Utd will hit them on the break soon and that will take the fight out of them

UrKo
01-05-11, 14:29
Agreed m8 thought he dived until I saw the replay....

Why didnt Fabio shoot!!!!!!!!!!

GJF47
01-05-11, 14:53
Vidic such a cretin. Dont think you can have many complaints about the ref after that one UrKo :D

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 15:06
Just got home watching the half time analysis.

Clearly handball, should be a penalty, and at least a yellow.

But this is football, chelsea got the luck with the referee yesterday today its Man U's turn.

UrKo
01-05-11, 15:15
GJF have to agree and to be honest should have been a red as technically was a goal scoring opportunity!!!

GJF47
01-05-11, 15:16
Yellow maybe a red for denying a clear opportunity. He was lucky to escape a booking for the challenge earlier as well. For all the pretty football though Arsenal dont look like scoring and the longer the game goes on the more Utd will come into it.

UrKo
01-05-11, 15:16
Would the Real Man Utd please stand up!!!!

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 15:17
Arsenal never look like scoring though really.

UrKo
01-05-11, 15:19
Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 15:23
Hahahahahahah.

Well worked though.

GJF47
01-05-11, 15:24
Its not over yet. Still feel Utd will score at least 1 if they step it up a bit. Pleased for Ramsey though, nice to see him back playing after that bad injury. Hopefully he can be a big part of Wales' future as well.

UrKo
01-05-11, 15:24
cheers m8. And to think he should have come to Utd

GJF47
01-05-11, 15:30
Yeah he had the choice of the two teams. He will probably get more of a chance at Arsenal though. Certainly looks much better without Fabregas playing today.

UrKo
01-05-11, 15:32
When cesc plays they try everything through him. without him others get the chance. He chose Arsenal because Utd agreed with Cardiff to loan him back for one season which he didnt want to do.

Park was asleep and should get the hair dryer treatment but guess it's justice as that was a blatant handball missed by the linesman that technology would have picked up.

Oh well least keeps the interest going.

GJF47
01-05-11, 16:37
Gonna be a cracker next week between Utd and Chelsea :D

UrKo
01-05-11, 16:46
Arsenal deserved the win but three vital decisions missed today. Vidic handball, penalty possibly red card. Clichy on the floor when nani went round him handball penalty. Owen fould at the end again def pen missed.

On the whole though cannot blame anyone but ourselves. We were very very poor tonight. One eye on champions league and one on chelsea i think. Arsenal deserved it and in the end cannot have any complaints. Best tackle of the game against Arsenal was Chris Foy on Nasri near the end of the first half lol.

Not worried though as Utd will win the league.....

UrKo

still 9 points to be had

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 17:12
Chelsea have to win though, otherwise we'll be waiting on other results.

GJF47
01-05-11, 17:15
Yes Arsenal were fortunate not to concede a pen against Owen at the end and Vidic should not have been on the pitch. They had enough chances to kill the game off on the counter but wasted all of them. Fair result overall though Utd were very poor today.

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 17:16
United buckling under the pressure it seems.

GJF47
01-05-11, 17:22
Would be great to see them fold. I would have a field day winding all the people on Facebook who are certain they had already won the league for the last few weeks :D

El Wayneo
01-05-11, 17:23
I know, few on here it seems as well.

Its still theres to lose really and Schalke put 5 past Inter so they can beat them but tbh United losing both is unlikely.

Nice job Arsenal, now will Chelsea win at Old Trafford then bugger it up with a draw/lose at Everton on the final day?

UrKo
01-05-11, 18:07
Chelsea will not win at OT although i fear the ref may come into play again as they did last year.....

nah will be a good game next week. I hope Torres plays though we will def have a chance

Krusty
01-05-11, 19:22
Wouldn't think taking 6 points from Blackpool and Blackburn will be so easy either, guys are fighting for the nice lifestyles and all the prestige that comes with being in the premier league sure as hell would make me fight a little bit harder.

But it's Utds to throw away all the same.

Iss this like a new forum for sport ? Never seen it before !

UrKo
01-05-11, 19:46
Yup easier run in for us I think but who knows.....

GJF47
01-05-11, 20:22
I'd rather play blackpool and blackburn than everton and newcastle though.

We are awful mate. Didn't see the game against Liverpool today did you? Chelsea will stroll past us.

UrKo
01-05-11, 20:29
I hope not my neighbours a huge Geordie fan

GJF47
01-05-11, 20:31
Nah we are terrible mate. The team look like they are already on their summer holidays. Apart from the game against you lot last week we have been poor for weeks now.

UrKo
01-05-11, 20:55
My mate whose a big geordie believes therefore I believe

Krusty
01-05-11, 21:31
Nothings ever certain though is it? or we'd all be rich and the bookies broke, can't see Chelsea beating Utd at home and got to think they would take at least 4 points from the other two games so as I say it really is going to be Utds to throw away.

But at least it kept it interesting to the end, just glad it looks like City vs Tottenham hopefully won't be a decider like last year, don't think my nerves could take that again, then we just have to get passed Stoke in the final another game that really could go either way being a one off.

A fan since 76 think we deserve a little success, especially being a season ticket holder in the mid to late nineties and seeing all that dross!

GJF47
01-05-11, 22:06
Hope you guy beat Stoke in the final for the name of football. Cant stand the way they play.

Krusty
01-05-11, 22:38
Well yeah they can look awful at times then again the way they played against another less than total football team that is Bolton they were quite impressive and entertaining to watch!..

If it's form and quality of team then it should be a formality and a stroll in the park but being on this rollcoaster that is Man City well to coin a Fergie phrase it'll no doubt be "squeaky bum time!"

I am however really looking forward to next season with Arsene saying he'll actully spend a bit and Liverpool looking back to there old selves should be a really competative league even more so than this year, which is a great and QPR coming up with a few quid to splash and a couple of other eager teams and us droppng a couple of the deadweights(not mentioning any names! :p) could well be the best ever! :thumb:
