View Full Version : Favourite concole/console game?
I don't know about you guys, but as well as my PC, I also have a PS2 which I love playing on.
The last game I played on it which I got totally addicted to was Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Black Edition. Brilliant game! :)

GTA was the only worthwile thing on the Ps2 really-
i got two sat here rotting because i dont play them - with the ethernet adapter :)
about 30/40 games *cough* and i still dont play it ;) just not convenient - just get a good EMU for pc :) hehe
*edit* i did love playing the atari its still in the loft and worth a few quid :) v good condition :) has a ninja type game on it - i could play that for days on end ! :)
Gran Tourismo was the only game that kept me coming back to my ps2 but eventually that got repetative too, it took years though  , and assuming th ps3 isn't shedloads of £££ (which it probably will be) i might get one if/when GT45678 comes out on it, none of the racing games i have played on the pc have come close to the playability of the Gran Tourismo games.

I never liked the Gran Turismo games, to be honest they came across as pretty naff.
I played on a lot of Colin McRae Rally when I had my PS1. On my PS2 I've started playing NfS:MW again, and I played the Warriors a while ago which was a right old laugh!
playstation 2
devil may cry series and command and conquer series for ps1 :P
The C&C games are no good for consoles! You need a mouse to play them properly :)

Lies, all lies!! No one ever bought a dreamcast! You'll be telling me you had an Atari Jaguar next!!
I had an Atari Lynx 8) With Batman!!
I borrowed a Gamegear once, never has Sonic been so tiny and fun to play. And the machine using SIX AA batteries at a time wasn't excessive in any way.
The original Gameboy will always be a masterpiece. I still have my original one from when they came out in 1989!!
[quote:b43ee47ff7=\"PrivatePyle\"]lol, Dreamcast, i thought they only sold seven of those? the new nintendo thing looks pretty swich, its called the er..\"wee?\" or \"whi\"? sorry no spelling! it has some kind of funky control where moving your hands through the air controls characters and functions in game. trippy :? :D[/quote:b43ee47ff7]
The Dreamcast had amazing quality games. Too bad there are so many fanboys but that's what you get, I mean, games as I see it, ARE targetted for the younger audience (-25). On that note, I've seen and heard a lot of 25yo's act like little b*tches...
Me, I'm not immature like that. I've never bought 2 consoles in the same generation at the same time but I make logical and reasonable, well thought out decisions before buying one.
Wii = games look ok but more like a stop gap between last generation and this generation. No way am I being confined to using that motion control to play games on rails...

NEVER DISS THE DREAMCAST!
It had great games. Sonic Adventure was reason alone why it was such a great console. Not to mention the Power Stone games, Skies of Arcadia, Dead or Alive 2, Soul Calibur, Rayman 2 and many more! :)

Phantasy Star Online is cool on the dreamcast.
Shenmue was good, loved when you could get a job ect... and go play Space Harrier in the arcade.
