I need a cheap graphics card (AGP) to replace a Geforce Nvidia MX 440 in a 1.6Ghz Athlon based machine. I don't want to spend more than 50 quid.
What do you recommend?

Whatever card you buy you will only see a slight increase in performance.

Either need a bigger budget mate.

or

You need to start looking around Ebay for a good deal.

If you can find yourself one get a geforce4 TI4200, Ti4400 or Ti4600.

They'd go well with a 1.6GHz machine.

Should have made it clearer that this is to replace a 'dead' mx440. I appreciate the comments regarding no real increase in speed. It was more a case of whats out there at a low cost.
