View Full Version : From Africa with Love
Been reading a few threads from this area of the forum for a while, and always thought I should put some of my own photos up.
They are not brilliant, but reasonable is a good way to describe them.
No touching apart from a resize.
All took on a trip to Africa.

Took with a Pentax K10d.
We took literally hundreds of photos, but thought i'd share just a few for now. May stick lots more on a web site if I ever get the inclination.
Hope you enjoy. S.

I forgot to ask in the original post, where did you actually go and how did you manage to get so close to the animals? I take it you were on a guided trip.

Just had to find out after you asked.. I think it's a "lilac breasted roller bird" or "violet breasted roller bird" seem to refer to the same bird.
Awesome Photos m8!!!!! :)
I went to kenya last year absolutely loved it. Took some OK photo's using a Nikon D70 with a 300mm lens and thought they turned out great. But yours are stunning!!
