Really quick answer needed please!

Would I be able to create an sli setup using the MSI 570 and the Asus 570 CU II that I already have?

Will the HX850w psu suffice for this sli setup?

Will it look dumb in the build from an aesthetic point of view?

If I can go sli with these two different cards what disadvantages would there be with them not being the same card by the same maunfacturer?

Thanks!

Would the Asus card not cover up the next PCIE because of its big cooler?

You'll be fine as long as they are the at the same clock speeds etc. And it will be tucked away in your case so doesn't really matter lol. Pretty sure there are no disadvantages, just make sure they are at the same clocks!

And make sure both of em will fit lol. 850W will be fine :).

She can swap them around ;).

After looking at it will leave about a cm of space. I'd be worried about this but the new side panel that can take 4x120mm fans is on order.xx

Can't swap them around the cooler on the Asus card would hit the psu.

Nope, the MSI is clocked slightly higher on the gpu and the ram. :(.

Thanks though Pullen.xxxx:D

You can change the clocks though, to make them the same, sorry for not making myself clear lol, you can underclock the MSI or overclock the Asus :).

And no prob :).

One of the fans from the 570 may be covered completely by the PSU as you said :(

May still be a few mm of clearance so you may get away with it! Loads of case fans! :)

600T though! Big and expensives

Can easily sell it for a cheaper bigger one, it's what's inside that counts not the look of the case IMO.

Lisa
20-04-11, 16:00
A different case is an idea. 700D? But then we're talking about a £400+ purchase to get a graphics card, and I'd be left with a case.....

.....That I could use in my build! :D

But I really wanted the white R3 :(

Dunno, have to have a think for an hour. I've got the funds available but it's still £400+

And it would mean buying an item (the case) elsewhere, which I really don't want to do, as I don't really like any of the full towers that Aria stock at the mo. (Sorry).xxxx

Ahh well understandable to an extent with people maybe buying to sell on and giving more people an opportunity at the better deal, nevermind then guess it's back to waiting, can't do nothing without a case anyways, come on Lian Li move your derrieres!

Hey, was just wondering if the MSI 560TI vs my ATI 5750 was an upgrade worth goin for, and would the below specs be fine to fit said card?

Motherboard : MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard
Case: NZXT Phantom
