I am just adding 2 gig of ram and had help earlier concerning another question, but I would like to know what the difference is between these two ram types please.

The latter has a limited lifetime warranty and is out of stock.

Get the first one - it's cheaper and if it fails after the first two years, the equivalent will be cheaper anyway! (Two years ago a 512 stick was top-end and well over £20, now it's £6/7 a stick)

If it fails after 2 years, you'll lose maybe £4 (if we assume £7 for an equivalent stick, minus the £3 you're saving now), but the chances of it failing are low and you'll likely want to upgrade by the time it fails anyhow :)
