Google video is being shut down!
So if anyone has any videos on there now is the time to get them :)

On April 29, 2011 videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback. We’ve added a Download button to the Video Status (http://www.google.com/video/upload) http://services.google.com/images/adwords/doit.gif page, so you can download videos that you want to save. If you don’t want to download your videos, you don’t need to do anything. (The Download feature will be disabled after May 13, 2011.)

Thought they would just upload them useing your Gmail account and create you a youtube user with it since they own it

Seems reasonable, pointless having the two systems really since video.google.com was basically created as competition for youtube in the first place.
