i got one of these a while ago, great product but the drive inside is a 5400rpm drive so you only get about twice the usb 2 speed but a very good product and a great price, bargain!!

Fairly misleading IMHO. Still, great price, as cheap as most USB2 drives.

Yeah, all hard drives tend to do this nowadays, it annoys me too. We don't normally come up with the product descriptions / features, they normally come from our suppliers and in turn from the manufacturers.

It's like Sata 6.0 Gbps (Sata III) hard drives saying Data Transfer Rate: up to 6 Gbits/second. When really no mechanical hard drive can manage much more than 1 Gbits/second in terms of actual disk reads, it's just that it 'could' in theory transfer 6 times that over the SATA bus.
