I am almost ready to take the leap - both these i5 2500k systems have caught my eye:

http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Gaming+Range/Gladiator/Dominator+560Ti+Gaming+PC+%28Sandy+Bridge+REV+B3%2 9+?productId=43568

Both are pretty much the same price and spec but the Dominator has probaly a slightly higher spec mobo and PSU (I frankly dont care too much about the case as long as its quiet) - is there any reason I would want to shell out the extra £100 for Dominator?

Cheers

What case do you like best?

Prefer the Dominator case but I wouldnt pay £100 more for it unless its functionally better.

It also has a bigger SSD, only 4GB though lol.

I would get the Dominator as the 850W PSU would be better if you wanted to SLI in the future

Im gonna SLI the 560s straight away (I have one here in my Q6600) but I understand from here and other forums that a Corsair 650 should have enough juice for this.

It will, but i would just feel better with a 850 if it were me

The AsuNDeR K looks better for the price imo, the only major differences are the case and the SSD from what I can see.

All the differences are...
1TB WD Green VS 1TB Samsung F1
60GB Mushkin SSD Vs 64GB Kingston
Modular 650w Corsair HX Vs 850w Corsair TX
4x BEquite fans vs no additional fans

If you're SLI'ing then the 850w would be better,

The 650 should be fine. But if that's an issue you can always give sales a call and ask them to do the Asunder with the 850 instead :).

Personally I think the Asunder is the better deal of the two.

Prefer the Dominator case but I wouldnt pay £100 more for it unless its functionally better.

If you prefer the CM690 case you can always call sales and upgrade, it should only cost an extra £15 or so.

I'm in the same position as you, although I am waiting for the new crucial m4 SSDs.

I picked up the Dominator before the Asunder was announced. They have also now included the water cooling in the Dom as well :(

Admittedly I do prefer the case of the Dom to the Asunder but is it worth the extra, I think that would have been a close call for me.

Hi mate, considering the Dominator is £59 more i think that's the one i would buy, You get a more powerfull power supply, a better case (don't like the look of the other one) and a better motherboard.

Damn you Aria but for that price and free delivery I pretty much have to get the Dominator. :P

I went for the Asunder, though for the life of me, looking at them now, I can't remember why..

I did, however, change for an Antec 300 case, and stuck a GTX 580 in there (it was payday, I was in a good mood :P)

I'm sure there was some reason for the Asunder...none spring to mind at the moment ^_^
