if you dont already know, fibre optics are coming on talk talk in may for my area.
My question is:
Will fibre optic be available for talktalk business aswell?
I'm on a contract that expires next year with talktalk business.
I would think it would depend on the exchange your business internet is connected to. If it's the same as your home internet you should be laughing :)

my isp is talktalk business, it's a home business.
My exchange supports fibre optics, it's just i don't see fibre optic being advertised on talktalk business site, but it's on talktalk home broadband site.
Ah gotcha. If they haven't got a fibre package out for business customers, I would expect them to have one soon...
My ISP still hasn't switched on to FTTC, should hopefully be doing sometime this year... However I won't switch, I like their service too much :p

Is TalkTalk going to do anything to improve its reputation as one of the worst companies when it comes to customer support?

Probably not, I've had an absolute nightmare with them trying to sort out my granddads Internet connection after he bought a new PC. Who uses USB modems these days anyway? They point blank refused to offer me help setting up a netgear router last time I called.
I was going to switch to talktalk a couple of weeks ago, but they lost my order!!
I received confirmation via email, post & a phone call, but after that i heard nothing, so phoned them up and they couldn't find me. Must've spoken to 6 or 7 people!!
Someone in the CEO's office eventually found me, so i told her to cancel it!! :/

My Dad had the same problem with them... Dozy old fool actually thought USB was better because he couldn't figure out how to do it via ethernet
He was amazed at how much faster everything was once I'd told him how to set it up... And this is the guy that first taught me about building PCs
TBH TalkTalk don't just have a bad rep for their customer service. From what I've seen they have a well deserved bad rep for everything they do in general. When will people learn that cheaper isn't always better?
