Hey there.
I want to use two pcs, but with only one monitor, keyboard and mouse.....is this possible? and i want them to be connected to each other. help?:)
Think the closest to what you're after would be a KVM Switch

Yes you need a kvm switch,

but you may need a different one if you are using a usb mouse/keyboard
if you wish them to be betworked together and use a router, just connect both to the router. iif no router you could use a cheap switch or a crossover cable

yea KVM is the way to go, one thing i recomend is KVMoIP as this means you can control your pc from anywhere in the world and see EVERYTHING, for example, you can watch your PC restart and even get into BIOS.
I do this with servers and always overclock the server so say i buy a Core 2 Duo E6600 server ill then login to KVMoIP reboot the server, go into BIOS and overclock it to 3.0 lol
God i love KVMoIP !!!!
never mind the kvm switch, change the home hub they are awful :(
Eh monkey u work at bt which one my dad works at martlesham, the place has been taken over by indians has urs to? and the bt home hub is disgusting it slowed my connection down by 50%!

The only reason im with BT hub is because my landlord told me its the only one i could get.. i was like..NOO I WANT VIRGIN NOOB! but he said i couldnt have it in this flat. cant wait to move
You cant beat virgin broadband
I'd agree with you if they cabled my street, but as they havent, they can be beaten
did you ask them if they could do it for you?
nope, cant afford it now lol
get a cough cough modem :D
i have 2 spare :p and have 2 running at the mo :p
I've now found out that the house 6 doors down has cable :S
lol well then why not ask if you can just stick a cable splitter on their cable and then get some coaxial cable running across everyones front garden and then in your house lol.
I bet you if you rin virgin up and tell them can they install Cable in your house as the a 6 door down has it but you dont they will come down and install it for you. If they say no then just ask them why, all they really need to do it what i said really which was stick a cable splitter on leading to your house and your on cable :D
need some extra funds first though
i can lend you a spare modem if u want?
also 2MB is only
