Hi there, I'm a first time buyer at aria.co.uk. I have a few queries regard wrong delivery item. i have check the help section but it doesn't specifically address my issue. I brought some item last week Saturday, it got delivery today, most of the item seem okey but 2 are not, specifically the memory and graphic card. I order a Patriot 4GB PC2-6400 C5 Extreme Performance (2x2GB) but they send me 1 GB memory module kit. As for the graphic card, i order a nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB Overclocked PCI-E, they send me what seem like a palit 9600gt sonic 512 MB. So my question is how can i contract aria.co.uk regarding wrong delivery item, they seem only have RMA policy for faulty, damage, and return (change of heart). Next question is do i pay for the delivery cost to return the good back to Aria.co.uk and pay again for them to shipped the correct item back to me? Lastly does Aria.co.uk have a system where they check what being ordered and what being shipped out. I have order pc component online from other website before and this is the very first time this happen to me, so I'm a bit puzzle at what i need to do and to be honest it a little frustrating.

Hello and welcome, did you call Aria's Customer Service number?

They should be able to help you, although you will have to call them tomorrow now.

The Palit Sonic cards are excellent, I wouldn't complain. But you don't need to. The nVidia Geforce are various brands, so you don't know what you get.

Whats up with the RAM? Is it 1x1GB stick and not 2x2GB?

the palit 9600gt sonic is an overclocked 9600gt, and a good 1 at that as it has uprated power regulation circiutry over the refference design cards which means better overclocking :D

welcome to the forums btw :)

Hi thank you all for the quick respond. To answer a few of the above question, part of the reason i choose the nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB Overclocked PCI-E is because i like the graphic card casing and the price is within my budget. What am building is a Apple G5 PC and the Palit card just look ugly as hell. Oh the memory is a pair of 512 mb.

You most probably won't be able to swap the card, and how it can be ugly I don't know, most are the same, unless they have single slot coolers. You've got a good deal...

sorry but i disagree what i brought is this:

http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/5900/snap1au2.th.png (http://img301.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snap1au2.png)

what i get is this:

http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/741/snap2lr7.th.png (http://img381.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snap2lr7.png)

so yeah it not the same, the specification might be the same but it look completely different. What i order is the first card not the second, it like comparing apple to orange both are fruit but they look and feel completely different.

the img with the black cooler may have been for illustrative purpose only, but the palit card will run cooler and quieter than the black 1.

Do you honest believe first time buyer will spot that tiny print. I really dont care much for specification, what i care is look and to me the black card look and goes better with everything in my computer. So what the above post suggesting is, aria.co.uk policy is advertise 1 thing and sell another as long as they put a tiny print underneath it okey? If they want to sell the palit card why not put a picture of the palit card? Why do they put the picture of the black card and selling the palit card? Isn't that false advertising?

SO let me get this straight so if Aria.co.uk advertise a sony monitor with the picture of the original sony monitor. If i brought that sony monitor they can sell me cibox brand monitor cuz technically it a monitor and the specification is roughly the same (with the tiny print underneath), that absurd.

No

nVidia GeForce cards are many brands, they aren't specific, you will often see this on many sites. And also small print is used on many sites too.

What happens with cards like that are; we order 9600gt oc from the supplier, they send us 9600gt oc cards, we sell them as 9600gt oc cards.

That particular model is sold as an nVidia 9600gt oc, which is what you got irrespective of brand. If you wanted a particular brand of card then something like the MSI or Asus would have suited you better.

And we do put that disclaimer under every items main picture on the site.

However, if you wish to send that back then you can do under distance selling regulations on the proviso that it is in resellable condition. You will need to contact customer services, http://www.aria.co.uk/Support/Contact+Aria.
