Camcorders. Anyone experianced?

Ello.

I need a cam corder. A professional one. One thats around the size of a computer case and is very heavy... any ideas :)?

Theres this old sony handy cam I might get, but its over my price range, but it can do 24p which is good.

Anyone here experianced with camcorders?

You want a Mini-DV camcorda as there better quality

Quality is ALL Im looking for, I dont care how big the thing is, I dont care if it has no features and looks like something you made from clay. I just need the highest resolution I can get. Thats all i want :) so yeah a camera like yours looks good. all my editing is done on pc so all I need is a camera that will shoot well and at high frames, and have firewire capabilities
