I Love IE its a great piece of software and works great with the other applications i have.... Firefox is a poor mans explorer... why use this rubbish Firefox needs banning.

Firefox needs so many add-ons just to work like IE. ok it also has some usefull add-ons but there's so many that are required just to get it to work like IE.....

I use Firefox because I feel that I can customise it a lot more than IE and it is more responsive.

That and I disagree with how M$ embedded IE into Windows and claimed it was part of the OS so that they could bundle it with every copy their OS and crush Netscape, while dodging antitrust suits.

That plugin which lets you download steam movies off youTube and other streaming sites is also very cool.

Firefox 3 is the best (with a decent theme)

Firefox 2 is the second best.

Opera is the third best.

Safari is the fourth best.

Firefox needs addon's to be like internet explorer ? I disagree. Please name one good feature of internet explorer that firefox doesn't have. Even if true surely it's best to have them in addon form so that you only need to have them if you want them, rather than wasting memory and space.

I use firefox for most things that need a password.

I use Internet explorer for things i want people not to realise im using, without deleting the rest of my history. :O

The only thing I like or rather see a difference between firefox and IE is, with firefox if it crashes, it backs up your websites.. On the other hand, IE doesn't crash lol so doesnt need to back up your websites you were just on.

But thats just me ;)

Built in spell checker, on teh fly find so you can just start typing and search a webpage. I beleive it uses less memory too.

It has tabs as standard so you dont have to have loads of seperate windows all open at one time clogging up the taskbar, and you can also close the tabs without having to be on that tab (small but effective)

When you click the scroll on the mouse its alot more accurate than in IE, you can scroll gently or at any speed whereas in IE its all or nothing

Firefox has my vote

IE7 doesn't have a built in check as you type spellchecker does it?

IE7's 'find' feature is woefully inadequate, especially compared to Firefox's search and search highlighting.

Firefox comes with more features than IE7, and things which IE7 has, Firefox implements better. Gobbles less memory too.

Tabmixplus is great loads of clickability features and the best feature it makes CTRL and TAB for your TABS become what ALT and TAB is for your WINDOWS!!

and mouse gestures you can close tabs by holding down right mouse button and drawing L shape, minimise, reverse L shape, open new tabs diagonal line anything you want by doing a certain motion with the mouse - once used to it its VERY fast!

Addon's come in all shapes and sizes. Zooooooming is not used by most so why clog up a browser with an unused feature.

I used to use FF and i admit i liked it alot, till it auto updated and nuked my pc to the point i had to reinstall everything.

Bottom line i will NEVER use anything other than IE from now on.
