View Full Version : Help me decide on a new laptop please
Hi, My parents have said they will get me a laptop for my 21st birthday, so i need some ideas.
The first question would be should i go for a Dell or another brand?
The second question would be, if i do get a dell or another branded laptop could i buy a second battery from them?
I thought i would make a poll, cus some people say dell are brilliant and others say don't touch them.
Here is what i will be after, i won't be using it for games.

dell are great for cheap systems, they have a buying power that is unmatched so they get stuff cheaper and sell it cheaper. however if your not after a cheap as chips word processor you would be better getting from elsewhere.
tbh i think asus have some great laptops out atm and the have a great warrenty too. it all does depend on what you want and how much your looking to spend tho.
I want one mainly for work on the go, so everything apart from Gaming. A budget of up to £800 but lower if possible.
