Here are my proposed essentials:
Case: Antec P182
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo, E8400, 3.0 GHz (Wolfdale)
Motherboard: Asus P5Q Deluxe (Intel P45) (not out yet but good reviews)
PSU: Corsair HX 620w or 520w version.

Initially I will be running XP until early next year I will upgrade to Vista.

I want some good <a href="http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Memory/DDR2/DDR2+800+%28PC6400%29/OCZ+4GB+PC2-8500+Platinum+%282x2GB%29+?productId=30921"> DDR2 PC2-8500 <a/> (4gb preferable for later Vista 64 bit upgrade) but there is not much choice available out there.

Also need a semi-decent graphics card for no more than £100 Nvidia or ATI I'm not too bothered. As long as it can run BF2 and Orange box great I will be happy, not looking for anything to run Crysis on V.High!

When I upgrade to Vista later I will upgrade graphics card again and whatever I get now is likely to go into a second PC possibly even a dedicated Media Centre PC.

Any help will be much appreciated.

What about power?
Is 520w enough?
Obviously if I was to do Crossfire or Sli I would go for 620w+
520w ok for my 8800gt?

If it's a good 520w then yes, if it's a cheapo one, ie one that came with the case, then I would be warry
