Less pictures, more box-van hire and salvage !!

Such a crying shame to see such beautiful buildings abandoned, especially as the longer they are left, the more likely they are to be burnt out by drugged up idiots or some such.

Id love the time to go hunting for buildings like this, i have some themes in mind id use for the stills.

I was describing what your pictures were of to a mate in the pub and he threw back the term "Urban Exploring" at me...so he was bob on I guess. More stalwart than I would be..I'd have had that extinguisher away..and the door knobs (handles - in case that doesn't get past the filter) :)

Looks like a fantastic hobby...must see what's about in my neck of the woods.

Look up the Stover/Ilford Park hospital.. Thats probably the nearest big place that I know of near you/me. I'm going to take another trip down there again sometime, but this time actually take some photos! :lol:

The grounds in the 12th picture (http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr57/coilercat77/DSCF7151.jpg) look fairly kept, yet the inside looks like they left in a hell of a hurry :|

Thanks for the pics, i got kinda hooked looking at these a couple of year back after seeing some of derelict Hovis factories, truly amazing what gets left behind and how such wonderful places fall into complete ruin.
Was the roof still mostly intact ?

Looking forwards to the WW2 shelters !

We used to have some old factories near us which as a kid we played in, all gone now & sort of like this building I find it a bit sad.

What a stunning place & as ever very nice shots Mr A.C.
