Morning guys and girls.

I bought one of Aria's own HTPC cases at the beginning of the year. Very good case for the money I might add.

I have recently noticed that my CPU temps are quite high. I'm using AMD's dual core monitor at the moment. I don't know how reliable that is.

When I first turn my PC on from a cold start, it shows the CPU temp at 60c - 65c. When it's been on for a while during the day and it's been used, it then shows 108c.

This is way too high. At the moment it's using the stock heatsink and fan that came with the CPU. I'm looking to buy a better heatsink and fan, but because of the case I'm using I don't know which one is going to fit inside.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

im thinknig mis read tbh, 108c would not be working i dont think, you sure its not 108f? only if it is f it would make it low 40s c and thats about right for stock cooling.

as i dont know which case it is i cant really advise on a better cooler that i know would fit....got a link to the case?

edit

if it would fit this would give great cooling for almost no noise :)

Will it fit though? He did say he has a HTPC, unless its just a normal pc case, we might have to consider size.

My mistake. The temp was in F. Changed it to C and it's now showing 36C after haveing it turned on for a few hours. Whoops. lol. Think I might still go ahead and look at better cooling though. I've had a look at that link for the fan, not sure on size though. This is the case I have

I had the same case and fitted a case fan to the top dropped temps a little but with regards the cpu cooler. dont think there's anything out there thats better than the stock cooler that WILL fit.

Could get a freezer 7 LP, but as Tystar said, it wont be much better than stock

So it's looking like the Nexus isn't going to fit then?

I bought a 12mm fan for the top of the case at the time of purchase. This sits over the top of the CPU. So it's looking like I might just leave as is then.
