can you request to have the old modem and not the superhub? I'v setup mine to route the dmz to my pfsense box and that does all my routing, but the superhub keeps resetting every now and again and wont give net access to my router untill I restart that. Didnt have this issue with 20mb service and my friends on 50mb but has the old modem with no such issue.

the superbug is total and utter rubbish loads of people having loads of issues just out of normal use

they should give you a choice modem or router modem but no they like to make things as hard as possible

Nope, got to have the superhub.

Lots of the issues relate to packet loss but just turn off 'flood' protection' in the menu for the hub, fixes it right up. :)

even with ip flood off people still get issues. seen absolutely loads of posts
on the virgin forums day after day.... they named it the superbug lol

if virgin wanted to they could give people modems but they have contacts with netgear and such now for the superbug but they do have modems fully capable of 50Mb I have one myself

no way would i have a superbug....not untill new firmwares show up anyways

my internets rubbish enough without having a rubbish router/modem making it worse

they are or about to fsb trial a new revision firmware - hopefully will iron out bugs that shouldn't have been there.

I've still got the old white netgear router and plug that came with my 20mb upgrade if anyone wants it if it's helpful.

Just give me a yell.

Hmm, mines been fine, no issues.. well i have had to reboot the hub twice since i've had it due to the internet going off, could have been a network issue tho.
