Please can someone tell me what a Modular PSU is, and why is it different from a "normal" PSU.

you can remove the cables you dont need to keep your case less cluttered.

they just plug into the back of the psu.

Just don't buy a cheap one - better to have too many cluttered cables than a loose connection!

You can expect to pay a little more for a modular PSU, but the difference is reducing fast.
