RE-install-whats first?

Hi Lads,been away decorating,now my new build keeps freezing every 3 mins,so took the HD out,made the slave new master(never been used),I may have installed it wrong in first place,so ques-what go"s first-OS-MOBO-orGraphics?,any help gratefully excepted,thanks in advance.Stigtwo:confused:

Have you set the ram timings? or ram voltage?

os mobo graphics sound is the order ido mine and have had no issues, but like lynx said are all the bios settings right? ram being the main 1 that causes lock up like htat, also are you overclocking it any?

I don't know if it still holds, but intel used to suggest that chipset drivers should be last.

But knowing the way graphics drivers used to use specific gart tables depending on chipsets, i am not sure if this is still a good idea

i usually go os > mobo drivers > mobo utils > gfx drivers > everything else and have never had any issues

I usually just install windows and mobo and graphics

Hi Lads, thanks for quick replys,I have been thinking about the first time there lots of things i took for granted-like the HD finding and sorting its self out,its been listed as/ I:// Not like on all my other computers where it is C:// Iv just been reading about the bios set up,Woops looks like iv got some more reading to do,thanks again,I will load it as in other Threads.Stigtwo
