Crysis Help

Hey guys. anyone play Crysis?

I wanted to make a quick fun movie using the single player of crysis, but it seems when I type Record into console, AI have an epileptic fit.

Is there a way to avoid this bug or is it just not possible to record on single player?

I could do that, but i the point of this is to make a video that doesnt look like I just turned fraps on and recorded lol.

I'm aiming to do something along the lines of this movie. Of course the guys at Sir Community are much better than me, but I want to have a shot at it anyway, and the only way i can do this is by making a demo track.

It looks like they made a custom level which was green and blue. Like a green screen studio, then overlaid that onto the screen and keyboard.

Yep thats what they did. But pretty impressive none the less.

I reckon they would have frapsed it and then used some clever trickery in sony vegas which I cant even begin to comprehend.

probably because they're trying to make it run decently on 99.99% of systems

Finally a company has pushed things to the limits and you say they should stop?

All games should start being more like crysis, looks wise that is

whats the point if only 1% of systems can run it well?

Why make a game when you'll only get 1% sold when you could make a game that runs on more systems, you'd get more of a return on it.

The engine isn't programmed well, COD4 is a fine example of how to have a game on very high settings play well on low end systems.

Crysis could have outstanding graphics AND play on all current systems if it was programmed right.

its implementation thats screwed crytec, if they had backed ageia and not used havok we (well mostly) could off load the physix to the gpu and it would allower smoother fps.

the new 1 is out on friday and im getting it but from what i have read ultra is still a comp eater but high is no very optimised, they are talking about patching 1 with the same tweaks but i doubt they will do it as they are cutting their losess on that 1.

i agree that their may have been some graphics cut downs but thats good because most people will play it and crytek will probaly realese a patch to upgrade graphics to does who would like
