Right then, I was bored and was thinking of a way to help members, especially new ones. So I decided to make a guide to contain all processors (new ones anyway) saying wether they were good or bad and some brief specs, all in one place for easy access.

Would appreciate some input on how to make it better and what you regard as good / bad performance vs price processors.

Would also appreciate if you could post with any information as you get it to help keep it upto date.

Peter.

Are the E1200/1400 45nm chips? I thought they were 65nm!

Just one observation - do the rows have to be that wide? Could you make it so you dont have to scroll sideways to view the tables, even on a 1280x800 screen? :) Good idea tho :)

Nice table. Woud suggest swapping the colours for good and bad chips, red usually means bad and blue or green good.

Good idea Peter, i too would suggest making it a bit smaller to fit across a "normal" res screen

My res is up at 1440X900 and i still cannot see the whole width!

um its very very brief i mean it needs some 3d mark 06 scores and maybe prices etc

I like it, although a lot of the column widths can be shortened, if poss so it fits on a 17" tft.

How about the stepping model? Some folks who are into overclocking like to see this.

Thanks Peter, good work dude. :D
