i have my VPS with webfusion and holding 4 websites which use from 1GB - 30+GB/month.

Connection is always stable, only had about 20 mins of netsplits from what i recall a while back when i first got it, only downtime i've seen was because they had a firealarm go off so it shut all the servers off, but was back up 20 mins later.

NEVER had ANY issues with Martfox. £40 a year for 10GB and 40GB bandwidth. 100% uptime as far as I can tell. Febuarys uptime was 100% except for 1 server (http://www.martfox.com/martfox-server-status.php) which had planned maintainable to make it better anyway - win! Servers based in Kent, Manchester, and USA (can't remember where). And their online support is good - had 60seccond responses at silly times!

If you sign up please usr my ref link! (http://www.martfox.com/customer/aff.php?aff=134) (No - let me use a non-ref link and make you cry! (http://www.martfox.com/))

TSOHost. Without a doubt.

Check out this code:

OCT-FORUM2-SPECIAL

£35 off the £50 pro package.

If it works, that's:

10GB Disk Space, 100 MySQL Databases and 100 emails. Plus, 150GB Transfer. All for £15.

Their service is second to none, had email replies at 12AM and replies in under 60 seconds. 0800 number to the call centre is a bonus, no holding either :)

I've been with DreamHost (http://www.dreamhost.com/) since 2000 - never had any complaints. Built by geeks, for geeks pretty much.

I've used surpasshosting.com for the last 6 years. I would recommend them, never had any real problems and when ever I've had one they've sorted it out really quick.

They offer US and UK hosting, I have a US account and it's always quick and runs great.

Another +1 for Tsohost is in order.

Submitted a support ticket today (re. SSH access, nothing bad!) at 11:59 and at 12:01 I received a perfect reply.

Considering persuading my boss to move all our Unix servers from Wiserhosting to Tsohost :)

I was with !&! as it should be called, it got cancelled when they passed my details onto a debt collection agency.

I was using their system to forward all mail to my gmail, which is fine, but the email address I had 4 years ago when I signed up was dormant, so I never got any emails or letters off them, just a debt collection agency asking for money.

Now hostings with dreamhosting, domains with 123reg and Ive also got an account with feral hosting..

we've got a couple of domains and hosting accounts @ 123reg at work, and privately I support a few !&! accounts. Never had problems with either. Don't know if they're the cheapest.
A friend just got .co.uk domain, hosting, POP3 emails and easy web design templates for about £5/£6 a month from !&!

ARGGGH 1&1 they've p'd me off even more today.

Had an account with them for 2-3 years, all my emails going through them.. so my old email address didnt work...

Didnt bother sending me an email or anything, it all went to my old address, so I forgot to change my card details, no contact off them, just passed my details on to some shady company called avarto finance...

Phoned Avarto, paid bill, got receipt sent thank god.. now today Ive just woke up to..

Dear Mr Hoare
You have not made a repayment arrangement on the above account.
Unless you telephone us by 01/04/2011 to agree a repayment plan we may either:
1.Instruct solicitors to contact you; or
2.In an appropriate case instruct out local collection agents to make a personal visit

Ok, so standard threatening letter.

Oh dear. This is not good.
Sorry to hear of your woes - I may well move when renewal comes up... I hate companies that work like this!

I am with IX webhosting and it is the best web site hosting (http://www.ixwebhosting.com/) for me personally. They are reliable, their server downtime is okay and the prices of the different packages are definitely reasonable. Before I have chosen IX web hosting I used free web hosting and I cannot recommend using free web hosting.
