I don't get why people are making a big deal of this?
The G.skill Eco's were 1.35v and IIRC, cheaper.

Looks like great RAM, but £110 is steep for 1600 CL9 imo :(!

maybe not for low voltage, how much is the Kingston LoVo? does that come in 2x 4GB kits?

1.35v

+1, that's a big difference compared to the current BlackLine kit.

1.25v Kingston LoVo master race reporting in, a year earlier.

So you were listening about there been not enough low voltage 2x4gb kits about. If they were cas 8 or 7 they'd be even more worth it. Still this may be the kit for me.:)
You can get the g skill eco 2x4gb kits but they cost more than this where I've seen them (they were cas 8 though)

Price comparison?

Relative to other RAM last year, about £10-20 more.

I really had no idea. lol

But then I had been out of the loop for a few years up until November. Vista I believe, absolute headache. I got out.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

I bought 2x 2gb of the gskill 1.35v ram last year. It was cheaper than the other 1600mhz memory at the time for some reason I believe.

I cant see why anyone would pay that much extra for such a small difference in power consumption. How many watts does this equate to? or is there another reason for wanting slightly lower voltage? Do they run cooler or something?

I was not happy with my GSkill Ripsaw 2x4GB
I should buy these and sell the GSkill then?

How does low voltage affects overclocking in say Sandybridge? Wouldn't it make it worse as I think the CPU core voltage can't deviate too much from the RAM voltage given the on-die memory controller?

How much voltage can you drive these RAM before warranty breaks down?

Anyone knows?

Mushkin seem to be focusing a good portion of their range at the dual channel market, yet are restricting themselves to the newer end of the market place that can accept 4 GB modules....... you should talk them into exdending their range to cover 4 module kits ;)
