View Full Version : Bargain Basement
Wasn't really sure where to post this, but here goes.
Just wondering if anyone has ever bought anything from here, and what sort of state the products are in. For example graphics cards with unoriginal or damaged packaging and no driver cd. Is this really all that's wrong with them.
i got a bargin mobo but it was faulty :(
they took it back and sent me another with no trouble at all. tbh the customer care i recieved thru that was amazing, even before i ordered the board as i asked them what was wrong/missing from the item they was great about it letting me know what exactly was in the box.

if you post the quickcode maybe nft99 or jon can check for u as they work in the warehouse :)
I've been looking at the 8800gt for £93 quick code 31361, tbh I can't really afford it right now anyway, it was just a general question. Here's hoping it's still there when I do get the cash together.

If it's the card pictured, it's the latest WHQ driver on the CD, If you want a copy of the disk (has other utils on it ie overclocking tool) I can send you a copy

Nice of you to offer, but it'll be a while before I can afford it (going on holiday ). Plus, by that time someone else will probably have ordered it. Damn, 8800gt for £93 is a proper bargain, why do I have to be a student

It's not that cheap really a new one is only £117 ish
I've bought a few things.. But the main 2 have been a wireless router/modem for £17 about 6-7 years ago (which is still going at my parents house) which came complete with everything - it had only been opened and sent back. And one of the Acer GPS units, which had been opened and sent back. Got it for £29, and the only thing missing was the external aerial and i picked up a generic one from a special auction site for 99p which works well!
Very nice, still going after 6-7 years.
