On sunday it should be a good one :thumb:
I see we have a few fans from each club on here so lets have some predictions for the game on Sunday, the gap at the top could be down to a point by kickoff with Arsenal playing on saturday and am sure Liverpool would enjoy taking the 3 points even more than usual :(
But am going for Liverpool 1 - Man utd 2
Let's see how wrong i can be :lol:
we are playing much better at home and after only just getting robbed at your place i think we can win this.

Hmmmm this is interesting, Im not much one for footy tbh but I think hair of the dog in the pub on sunday might well be called for.
Could be the best time yet to see if Kenny Dalglish can work his magic with the newer breed of filmstar footballers rather than the real men that he used to coach.
My heart says 1-0 to UTD, my head says 1-1
A draw i think on this one.

as i liverpool supporter my head is thinking along the lines of 3-1 utd :(

These big games have a habit of being a let down , hope I'm wrong, will be watching second half . I predict a low score draw
The game has been crazy so far, really shocking how both teams are playing. Soo many bad challenges/arguments etc...
Liverpool defo the better team at half time though.

Dont want too, but gotta agree about Liverpool being the better side so far,
Arguments also for both sides being down to 10 men too.
United already playing as if they are down to 10 men, carrick really does need to be on the first plane out of Manchester come the summer.
Lets just hope Hernadez adds a little spark to United come the 2nd half.

Typical I turned it off before the goal. Ah well was to late to matter anyway. Lets just hope united dont play as bad as that for the rest of the season.
Quality performce from liverpool. Kuyt & Suarez were particularly good.

its not that utd played bad we made them look bad as we were so good

They still gained a point on them though.
and a game in hand. the goal difference is not much now, the prawn munchers only have a +3 over us and that could be easily wiped the way things have been going. this is shaping up to be a real close final 1/3 of the season - and last day jitters is a real possibility.
They still gained a point on them though.that they did, but I glanced at the table and thought about the game in hand - Arsenal could have full control over their destiny rather than be looking at goal difference. Although I expect Arsenal will drop a couple more points than Man. Utd. anyway, so it's probably moot.

Sure is going to be a good run in, Man U Play Arsenal away and then Chelsea at home at the start of may.

we did at old t in the fa cup and was robbed, thats why i saw us winning today.
gooners need to get knocked out by barca this week and go for the league, they dont have the squad for both imo.

Every goal could be considered a mistake if your gonna paint it with a broad brush like that. Suarez created Kuyt's first goal with his skill, Nani's square head was to blame for the second and the third was hardly a mistake. It was a poacher's finish if I've ever seen one.

Aye, I wouldn't disagree. But saying that Man United played well but you guys played so well that you made them look bad...that might just be slightly exaggerated. United didn't turn up, I'm not sure what to put that down to though. Combination of bad tactics and poor just not settling at all I guess.
Blimey was not expecting that :(
Last 2 away games show just how poor are midfield is at the moment and has been all season the defence (vidic and ferdinand) have been superb in the games they have played and the goals berbatov got did alot but had to start today with Scholes who more and more games are simply passing by.
Them lot from the other end of the east lancs wanted the points more :(

and they are still throwing the toys out - refusing to speak to anyone, maybe fergie should have thought about keeping the claptrap shut. mind you not the first or last time he'll do something like this - another way to try and dictate not so much who should ref you but who shouldn't.

It was actaully agreed and decided before the game that they wouldnt speak to press that day whatever the result. The tackle on Nani ruined the game. Like Gerard being sent off in the FA Cup spoilt that tie. Would have been nice to see a fair game between two great sides.
Carragher should have gone, but no excuses that was awful from Utd. Midfield is pathetic, Fergie has to shoulder some blame for putting giggs, scholes and carrick in midfield. I'm more mobile then that lot.
