View Full Version : £50 Case
Hi all, looking for a bit of advice on a new case. Only want to spend £50ish, would like to have a windowed side panel(never had one before lol), has to be atx not micro. Planning on having an e7200, 8800gt, 4gb ram. Any advice would be really helpful.
I was going to buy an nzxt alpha or apollo but it seems aria don't stock these any more, I was then looking at the thermaltake soprano but can't make my mind up whether I like it or not lol.

The Soprano is the same frame as My ThermalRock Eclipse.
How many HDD you planning on using? as the 8800GT will block, depending on the cooler, at least one HDD space.
has to be :D

I second that. No other case at £50 (minus the Lian Li PC7 Plus) will come close or beat the above case in terms of build quality.
I've used the Thermaltake Soprano for just over a year (between 2005 and 2006). Worked well but found it quite flimsy. I've seen a CM690 before and it seemed a lot more robust.
had my cm690 for about a month now and im very happy with it, it is slightly over £50 but well worth it !
