Hi all

Today i was greeted with the terrible familiar smell of burning, one id experienced before from a failing PSU.

Sure enough, the PSU in my main pc, a Shuttle SN27P2 barebones was the culprit

Going to Shuttles webside to fill out an RMA form, it told me (http://www.shuttle.eu/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-486/) i had to request any RMA action to the place i bought it from.

Bearing in mind i bought the barebones from Aria back in July 2006, what can i do to get a replacement psu swiftly, anyone had dealings with Shuttle?

cheers

19365 as it's probably going to cost you more from shuttle directly.

Thnx, but my barebones (id: PC43I3502) uses the 400W model

Shouldnt be a problem as it only draws as much as it needs... what hardware you running?

amd x2 4800+ / 4gig ddr2 / raptor 150gb sata / xfx 8800gts

its not just the fact that its 100watts less, but also the wrong shape, plus i dont know if it even has the correct conections for the mobo/sata

if it was a regular pc psu i wouldnt think twice about ordering a replacement but here i need the specific one

atm im not sure who can help me, aria?

not that i see, besides id rather get a new psu than risk getting one 2nd hand and not knowing its origin
