man that's a real pain i was stood in aria today with £250 getting stuff for my new build and this wasn't in at the time

and i asked the guy on the till if there going to be in soon and he said "no"

Assuming you havn't opened anything I'm sure you can return the CPU you've already bought.

They're in stock on other websites as well now at similar prices. Looking promising :)

well basically i got a psu which i've already installed in the case and a laptop HDD which is in my ps3 :cry: not a happy bunny

Most powerful desktop CPU right now is the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 weighing in at 3.00GHz. Fast? Yes. Value for money? Gawd no. upwards of £600 for a paltry 333MHz speedbump over the Q9450.

Q9450 I would say best bang for buck CPU if you want the most upto date tech without blowing the bank account,

Q6600 best bang for buck if you still want cutting edge but don't mind being very very slightly being the line
