wireless printer - no internet

Can you connect a wireless printer up with no router or internet connection to connect to? Can I get the printer to print wirelessly or do I need internet to do this?

In theory if the PC you are printing from has wireless you can print by setting up an 'Ad Hoc' as opposed to 'Infrastructure' wireless network, and that should work without a wireless hub/router.

Your printer should come with instructions for this.
