Hi
i'm attempting to build a pc and i'm stuck...
I've got an Intel Core 2 Quad
Asus P5E mobo
Tough Power 750w power supply
4 x 1 gig OCZ PC2-8500 nVidia SLI ready Ram
but i'm stuck on a graphics card??
I'm not a gamer,i just want a Vid card thats not to expensive and will
work on this mobo:lol:
Please can anyone help;)
You need 64bit vista with 4gb of ram. Also, get a 8800GT or 8800 GTS depending on your budget.
If you're not a gamer then an nvidia 8600/9600 or Radeon 3850 will more than suit you're needs. An 8800 is a bit of a waste of money if you're not going to actualy use it to its potential.
yea, if your not gaming even on board would do. a 3400 or 8400 would be my choice tho so it can decode hd movies.

Are you going to be overclocking?
the ram seems abit of a odd choice
if not

no that board doesnt, i was just making the point that if you wont be gaming you dont need to spend money on a high spec card.
i would how ever get the fastest ram you can as its never too fast :D
8400 or 8600 series for your video card, just incase you pull out a game or two :)
