Hello there, me and my wife went to Norwich this weekend to celebrate my Dads 60th birthday, whilst there he told me their old laptop had packed up and they had bought a new one, of course I offered to repair their old one at which point he told me I could have it if I wanted it
Obviously I accepted, brought it home, backed up their data and wiped and reinstalled the OS, it is running lovely with no problems, so so happy with it! :D

Now my wife wants to play wow on it, after a quick play I have found it can play wow ok on low settings at 20 fps but I was wondering if there is anyway to upgrade the graphics card (if it is even has a dedicated card at the moment I am not sure), all I know is that it has a Mobile intel(R) 965 express chipset, so can I get a better g-card to put in it?

And would it be worth upgrading the 1.5 gig of ram to 2 gig for £15?

You won't be able to upgrade the graphics card if its an intergrated 965, as it'll be soldered to the motherboard meaning no upgrades graphically. Upping the RAM might be worth it, it depends on the motherboards maximum capacity. If there's 1.5GB RAM, you could get away with putting a 2GB stick in to give you 3GB. Also depends on the type of RAM the laptop accepts.

Can you upload a CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.57-setup-en.exe) report - to show what RAM is in which solts. It looks like your laptop only supports 2GB - so you would either replace 1 512MB for a 1GB, or 2 768MB for 2 1GB - depending on the setup of your laptop. There would be a performance boost, but it would only be minor - perhaps 20 --> 25fps?
