im not a fan of the over exposed pics - was that taken to look like that?

To be fair, I've found that some of the "high key" shots show up completely different on different screens. For instance, the top "laying down" shot looks fine on my laptop, but having just looked at it on my main desktop it does seem overexposed... so try turning down your brightness ;)

1,3,5 look fine on my pc, 2,4 look very over exposed, so i am with Ian on this one the over exposed ones could do with toning down a bit.

If i "adjust" my monitor to mak2 2,4 look "ok" the others will be under exposed??

With mac and Ian's comments over exposure - tried turning the brightness down and they look better but obviously the other photos were kind of ruined.

Is it me or does 1 look like her hair is a slightly greenish yellow? I think she has quite a photogenic face though, well captured. 3 looks like very natural skintone, though maybe her forehead is a little too light. Nice effort though :)

I agree, 2 and 4 def look a bit ghostly white, turning brightness down helped a little.

But other shots are nice, I like 1 and 3 especially, nice work :thumb:

3 is the best by some margin in my opinion, BUT that said the eyes look a little soft which might just be down to the resizing / compression etc when the pic was hosted / edited.

Don't get me wrong they are nice pics, but you did ask for constructive critisism ;)

Hmm, you could be right there on the #2 pic, different filtering techniques.

#3 is one of my favourites to be honest.

Some nice pics there, #3 is defo the best

Had a quick poke on your site, #1 is a very flattering picture of your model, bet she was well please with it.

Lighting in #5 is very good, but a little too much empty space for a headshot

Bit too much empty headspace in #4

2 4 and 5 are a bit bright for my liking, i love the contrast on the first one, the 3rd one is just beautiful although you might want to see what you can do about the reflection in her eyes.

In the Video Camera world, we have something called zebras, do you have that on DSLRs?

I actually think the reflection "brings out" the eyes - I used to try taking them out, but it just flattened the images.
